VANDALS is formed with the overlay of two tilted words with different colours, which makes it even more loud and reinforces the contrast of our brand. The logo maker offers thousands of templates and bold graphics such as characters, gaming icons, fantasy characters, letters, animate fruits, and gaming consoles. In terms of logo design, my approach was minimalistic and purely typographic, with "playroom" spelled lower case (playful and simple), and VANDALS uppercase (really shouty). With this colour palette I then developed our minimalistic brand assets that we keep reusing, adapting, and evolving over time. Since we are a crazy couple, I focused on the contrast and interaction between male/female or good and evil, by using teal and pink, which form a nice dark purple when overlaid. The logo should be tied and reinforce your overall brand and its values. To explain what I mean, have a look at this collection of images I created for you, where you'll see how our has been applied to our Twitch Channel Art, to a funny Poster we recently designed, to our Going Live posts we share on Instagram, and also see how we designed the logo in different variations, so as to adapt to light/dark background, or to B/W situations. You might want to think in terms of logo applications (how will you use it? is it flexible enough? has it got good proportions?), comprehension (will people be able to understand it? is it legible? is it memorable?), more than logo aesthetic (is it artistic?).
